On
the evening of December 26th, 2009 began a forecasted "ice storm" (what
we used to plainly call "freezing rain"). It lasted all through
the night, and upon waking up on the 27th, this is what was waiting to
be photographed. The roads were quite slick, which surely
contributed to the fact I ran across only one other photographer taking
advantage of this sight to behold! All photos in this series were
taken in and around Mer Bleue Bog, south east of Ottawa.
